Comprehensive Student Support
We address issues surrounding student wellbeing by:
- Fostering excellent relationships between students and staff where students feel safe enough to share difficulties and challenges.
- Implementing open policy that informs students of where to seek support, if and when it’s needed.
- Applying a tutor group, class group, and year group system, that builds secure, small communities within the school. In these environments, students feel more comfortable to seek the support of peers and staff.
- Teaching Personal, Social and Health Education, which is delivered as part of our pastoral curriculum.
- Having a Student Counselling Service.
- Offering the support of a dedicated Safeguarding Team.
