Reporting Absences



It is essential that you report your child’s absence from school via email to their class teacher or form tutor before 08:00am on the day that your child is absent. Kindly copy in the Pastoral Team when sending the email. pastoral@kgis-edu.com.

If we do not hear from you, your child’s absence will be recorded as unauthorised. Unauthorised absences will result in a meeting with the Head of School or Welfare Officer, and frequent or high numbers of unauthorised absences could affect your child’s progress.
