Admissions Process for Students with SEND

What is the admissions process for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)?

At Knowledge Gate International School, we welcome students with a range of learning requirements. Our staff are committed to educating all students in a common learning environment with similarly-aged peers; therefore, we kindly ask parents to share the details of any Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Individual Learning Plans (ILPs), and any Educational Psychologist, Paediatric, or other specialist reports (e.g. Speech and Language or Occupational Therapy), where applicable.

Sharing this information with us prior to a place being offered enables our staff to facilitate an appropriate assessment of your child’s educational needs so that they can be adequately supported via an educational plan and any necessary resources. Very rarely, it may not be in the best interests of the child to be placed at KGIS.
